Along the whole route through La Mancha, Extremadura and into Portugal, storks were seen nesting on top of light masts, churches and whatever high reaching structure.

On the top of this cypress tree, just accross the border to Portugal, we spotted the first stork  nest in a tree, and seen on this picture is the single offspring.

-"And where did granpa come from father?"
-" Why, of course my son, he came with the stork as well of course"
-"Well,that means father, that there has been no act of sexual procreation within our family for at least three generations!."

Where this "babies come with the stork" stems, i do not know, but a most beautiful bird it is.

Below are a couple thumbnails, leading to another two photos of  this stork family.
