Norway - en route from Voss to Lom - www.brandulph.net  -  2007
Pure water... drinkable water... and plenty of it, is more or less taken for granted in Norway... the waterfalls too. And!... luckily there still are waterfalls a plenty, to soothe the mind of the nature lover.
In the summer of 2006, I made - with a Spanish aquaintance -a week's early summer "maraton-journey" thru the east and west part of Norway.
- "Agua... agua! ... ˇYo nunca he visto tanta agua en mi vida entera!", he called out again and again... "Water... water!... I have vever seen so much water in my entire life!

To me, that was sort of a wake-up call... not only about waterfalls.
I have always been in love with waterfalls, but  like it is with most things in life... over time we tend to take them for granted... and we will only start missing them after they are gone... when it more often than not... is to late.
Anyway, my Spanish buddy claims to have more than 100 pictures of Norwegian waterfalls... and when we share a JD with a dash of water, he always start talking about them
