Like a river of molten rock, comes the  autumn leaves of the blueberries... cascading down the gentle slopes of the hills and mountains in upper Hemsedal valley of Norway.

We went up there early September 2007 - probably for the last time - just to enjoy the spectacular colours of the autumn in one of Norway's many vast and impressive mountain regions.

Probably for the last time, due to the catastrophical condition of the Norwegian roads. We simply cannot stand the  screams of pain from our mobile home anymore, when forced to travel on roads with  cracks and cavities so deep and wide, that cars are said to have disappeared in them.... for ever!
