Aloe Arborescens
This type of aloe is found in abundance in Albir, and is not only pleasing for the eye, but it's sap is used in the treatment of bruises, burns and other skin complaints.
It is said that Aloe arborescens is the only aloe apart from Aloe Vera, holding medical properties.
I have tried it's sap on mosquito bites, and it seems to work at least as good as any gel I have bought at a drugstore.
But... it might of course be just a matter of belief... like so many things in life.
