What made her make her bed in front of this door is anybodys guess, but here are some of mine:
- She lost her key
- She is a weary tourist, and simply found this place as good as any for a short nap.
- She is an apprentice learning to become a doormat.
- She is waiting for her boyfriend who said he was just hopping around the corner for a pack of cigarets... taking her valet with him.
- She is Alice... living next door.
- She is just another runaway kid... stranded in Lisbon.
- She has been hired on by the house owner to keep out the dusty exhaust draft from the street.
.... ahh... what the heck... she's simply tired.
